To qualify for NMMS Scholarship in Tamil Nadu, candidates must meet these two criteria:

Eligibility:

Domicile: Permanent resident of Tamil Nadu.

Class: Studying in 8th class (Passed 7th class).

academic performance:

General Category: Minimum 55% marks in 7th class examination.

Reserved Category: Minimum 50% marks in 7th class examination (5% relaxation for reserved categories).

School: Students studying in a government, government-aided or local body school in Tamil Nadu, Kendriya Vidyalaya, Navodaya Vidyalaya, non-government schools and residential schools are not eligible.

Income: Annual family income should not exceed Rs. 3.5 lakh.
